I bought the 3 roller set up for the secondary clutch on my can am. I was surprised with how fast it arrived. I ordered a Friday, got it Tuesday afternoon. Quality of the roller and tools were amazing. I will shop again for my next adventure.
used it on a Can Am outlander 450, and a Polaris Ranger XP 1000 probably would work on anything that utilizes a drive belt to torque the bolt down. some people say a impact gun will do the same thing bot if the bolt don't get tight enough on a atv the bolt come loose, clutch go flying and cut off your leg. I like my legs so small price to pay.
After purchasing the correct tools, belt and secondary clutch rebuild kit; my Can Am Defender HD8 runs much smoother. It used to jerk when first applying the throttle but the new belt took all that slop out. I highly recommend all Hunterworks products.
Hunterworks products are the best. Have ordered several times in the past. If you have a question their responce is top notch.
Installed it and it worked it didn’t seem like it was that much different in size from the original but it stopped the slipping and I even used the original belt that I had slipped multiple times with the old washer and it actually let me go full speed with no slip 10-10 recommend if they could ship it with another shipper so it didn’t take almost a week be nicer
The clutches arrived just as advertised (timely delivery). I was a little concerned because they had the same weights but a little different spring but I bolted them on. They worked great, this system comes in easier and still revs right up to 8200 as recommended. Up shifts and down shifts a little better than my old stock set up. Very happy will buy again.
Sorry, i did not. I wanted to, but the fit was just too loose. They had more slop than the stock ones and I didnt feel comfortable running them. I wish I had taken a video of them after installed.
Followed the directions for 32” tires as Todd recommended for a Turbo R with 35” tires. I rock climb and desert trail ride equally and feel this was the best setup. Belt engagement was quick and still had top end of 80mph. Up/down shift felt great with no belt slap. Very smooth!! I have used Hunter belts since 2018, best in the industry in my opinion. Do the break in as directed and you will get great mileage out of them if you know how to ride in extreme conditions.
