Your Polaris RZR Pro XP Turbo or Turbo R left the factory clutched for stock tires at low elevation. Why Tire Size Changes Everything
A CVT clutch is a balancing act between engine RPM, belt position, and load. Larger tires raise the effective gearing, so the clutch has to work harder to get the machine moving and to hold the belt in the right place under power. Without a re-tune, the primary clutch shifts out too early, engine RPM drops out of the powerband, and the belt slips instead of grips. That slip is heat, and heat is what shreds belts on a Turbo that is otherwise perfectly healthy.
Tune It, Don't Just Live With It
The fix is matching the clutching to how your machine is actually built and ridden. Those adjustable weights let you add or subtract grams to fine-tune the calibration for your exact tire size and terrain — without even pulling the weights out of the drive clutch. The kit also improves backshifting when the machine senses load, so the belt stays gripped instead of slipping on climbs.
Built for the Pro XP Turbo and Turbo R
This kit fits 2021-2026 Polaris RZR Turbo/Pro, including the Pro XP Turbo and Turbo R, and 2021-and-newer XP Turbo and Turbo S models running the Pro XP-type clutches. It is not for the Pro R. The included setup guide walks you through the flyweight settings for different tires and situations, and Hunterworks recommends adding their primary washer for the best results.
