OEM Clutch Information
Almost every single business day I get a call from someone needing a new OEM primary clutch, in the past I had to turn them away to buy one online. Two things, it makes you have to go hunt one down and it makes us lose a sale. I have made a deal with my local Polaris dealer where I buy new Polaris clutches in bulk from them at a low profit and sell them for a low profit as well and compete with online parts stores. So this is a win win for both you and us.
These are brand new clutches, they don't come with weights or springs. Non Turbo RZR come with our STD White Primary Washer and the Turbo Clutches come with the factory spacer. This is called a uncalibrated clutch. You install your weights, spring and washers from your clutch assuming they are not damaged or you install a clutch kit like the Dalton we sell in it. OEM Clutches bought anywhere do not come with weights, springs or limiting washers. The term uncalibrated is confusing people so this part has been added in. All uncalibrated means is no weights, springs or washers. If you drive to your dealer, pay $600 plus for a new clutch it does not come with weights, spring or washers therefore it is an uncalibrated clutch. So there is nothing to actually calibrate, just install your weights, spring and washer or a clutch kit.
Clutching is different among all models but the base clutch with no weights or spring are the same. What changes between the models is the springs, weights, helix and spring in secondary clutches but not the empty or base clutches themselves.
OEM part numbers are different depending on the year, there have been minor changes such as a addition of a washer that changes the part number. We have chosen the lastest model that covers all year model.
Fitment
All models of any kind XP 1000 from 2014-2017 are the same including two seat, high lifter and four seater.
All models of the 2011-2014 XP 900 are the same, two and four seater as well as Jagged X
2015-2016 RZR 900 Models are not the same, the models with engine braking are not covered by us. The clutch we carry is for non-EBS models. All 2017 models have EBS according to the parts diagram
Update: 8/18/2022
We now have OEM Turbo RZR clutches for the 2016-2020 all models but not the Pro 2020 Model
Warranty
There is no warranty, to our knowledge no one warrantees a OEM primary clutch. Polaris rarely warrantees one on a brand new machine, they are considered a wear item and subject to abuse. Too many things can go wrong with clutches from outside sources, water, too large of tires, jumping etc that we simply can't warranty these and as mentioned no one does that we are aware of.
Returns: No returns accepted on a clutch that has been installed.
Sorry about the warranty and return info and it being blunt, but these are expensive, we make little profit on them and so much can go wrong on the end users end.
