Nano Ceramic Particle Transfer

Nano particles are hundreds of times smaller than the width of a human hair.

Nano-ceramic particle coating self transfers from roller to the clean metallic surfaces, forming an ultra slick, friction free barrier. The layered structure allows sliding movement of the parallel planes. Nano ceramic particles are shaped like little flat disks. These disks sandwich in between the two moving surfaces . Friction forces cause the nano-ceramic particles to orient in the same direction, in which the planes are parallel to the sliding movement. The anisotropy of the mechanical properties imparts the combination of low coefficient of friction and high carrying load capacity.

So what this means is that we no longer just provide a solution for the polymer roller wear. Instead, we provide the ability to coat both the wear roller and the mating surface with low coefficient ceramic lubrication at the same time, without the expense of the user sending in their other clutch components. The whole process is performed during normal operations of our rollers. This operation is continual as the rollers wear and are replaced by new.

The resulting surfaces are transformed into bearing load surfaces capable of withstanding high temperature , kinetic and dynamic force. This is far superior than just adding a new polymer roller to an already worn surface.
